Why take the seminar?

Making your own soap is as important as growing your own food. Since we use soap every day and repeatedly throughout our entire life, it is vital that we know what our soap is made of, what it does to the skin, and how it affects our bodies. So let’s make our own, shall we? Be prepared to be inspired, to be hooked with this unique craft during a life-changing experience!

 You will be mentored by a soap maker with 33 years of experience in the craft, in fluent English. We will provide you with the uniforms, the equipment, our high-quality ingredients, notes, and continuous support. You will make 600g / 21oz of soap to take it home to enjoy! The seminar is 3h long, with a ticket fee per person. 

Please note: Prepayment of 50% and confirmation of booking a day before are required. You get a full refund of your prepayment if you cancel 15h before. There are discounts available for groups of 3-6.

Why join this activity?

Soap making might be a serious handicraft but that doesn't mean soap makers don't know how to have fun!!! You and your family can spend some creative, fun, and totally original time. Whether it'll be you on your own, you and your friends eg. for a girls-only time, or you and the kids, one thing is certain: You'll be getting your hands ''dirty'' into colorful soap-making. You will make sweet-smelling, round, and square artisan beauty bars, or if crafty and playful, shape birds, turtles, hearts, etc! Kids love making these!

We're talking about activated imagination, messy play, and pure fun! We will provide you with the uniforms, the equipment, our high-quality ingredients, natural colors, and scents. You will make your own batch of artisan soaps from a premade soap base. You can take them home to give as gifts to friends or sell them at a craft festival. The activity is 45h long, with a ticket fee per kit (includes soap base, natural colorants, decorations, etc.) 

Please note: You don't have to pay a fee for you if you want just the kid to get messy or if you'd like to share the kit's materials with your child. Confirmation of booking a day before is required. There is a discount available for a group of 4 or 6.

Why join this activity?

Your toddler or preschooler(s) can make their own bath necklace! They will choose one of many colors of natural ribbon to use as a string for the necklace. Then they choose 14 beads of soap, in various sizes, many colors, and different scents (which are all-natural and child-safe), and thread them.

It's Montessori-inspired! The aim is to thread the beads in sequence, refine their motor skills and develop their concentration and their confidence. The child can use their creation back at home, in the bath (or hang it in the closet for the nice smell!). You (the parents/ guardians) will guide the child (or children), in the presence of FISIKA's warm, friendly staff. It's 30' long, with a ticket per necklace.

Please note: You don't have to pay a fee for you if only the child will make a necklace.

Why join this activity?

Can you make souvlaki without meat? Can you make fries without potatoes? Yes and yes! You and your children can make non-edible versions of the famous Greek fast food. The child/children (or even adults) will make 2 pieces of souvlaki made of soap on a skewer, but also some fries made of soap! It's a fun experience that you will not find anywhere else! Plus, it's Vegan.

We're talking about activated imagination, messy play, and pure fun! We provide you with the uniforms, the equipment, our high-quality ingredients, natural colors, and scents. Each participant makes their own couple of soap skewers and fries to take home to surprise friends, or use on Halloween or on April Fools' Day in the bathroom! The activity is max. 1h long, with a ticket fee per participant.

Please note: You don't have to pay a fee for you if only the child will make the souvlaki and the fries, or if you want to share.

Cancellation and Refund Terms on the paid services:

Prepayment is necessary to book a day. In case you can't make it to our meeting, you can cancel your booked class/ show/ activity and get a full refund. Just let us know at any time till 24h (except Sundays) before the appointment. In case of agreement on prepayment, refunds will be processed within 3 working days and will be issued to the original method of payment and in the original tender currency. The length of time it takes for the funds to appear in your account will depend on your payment provider. Read our Cancellation requests and Refund policy here.  

Notes:

A tour or seminar can be scheduled for a specific day and hour, according to your calendar on a day that we're not already booked. Tours are mostly held from 10 am -1 pm, on a Tuesday, on a Thursday, or on a Saturday, or from 5 pm to 8 pm Monday to Friday.

For attendants under 18 years old, an adult supervisor is necessary and they may be asked to sign disclaimer paperwork that they're fully responsible for the child/ children during the soap-making demonstration class or the crafts activities. For attendants 8-18 years old, an adult supervisor is necessary and they may be asked to sign disclaimer paperwork that they’re fully responsible for the child/ children during the DIY seminar. Adult attendants may be asked to sign disclaimer paperwork that they’re fully responsible for their own safety, handling tools carefully and strictly following our guidance throughout the DIY seminar, causing no harm to themselves, their co-attendants, their tutor, or tutor-assistants and their surroundings.
